Locations Join Over 1,200 Economy Lodging Properties

Carrollton, TX (April 17, 2006) – Accor North America, one of the nation’s largest owner/operators of economy lodging, today announced the opening of seven new franchise locations including Motel 6 locations in Stoughton, Wisconsin; Lafayette, Indiana; Beeville, Texas; Dalton, Georgia; and San Antonio, Texas; and Red Roof Inns in Pharr, Texas; and Rancho Cordova, California. This growth is in line with Accor’s recent announcement of its plans to double the number of franchise properties for its economy brands.

Accor North America currently has approximately 300 franchise properties representing 25 percent of its 1,200 Red Roof Inn, Studio 6 and Motel 6 properties in the United States and Canada.
